When Riley gets into a project, he gets into it. It doesnt happen that often that Riley will entertain himself...but last night, he did! He found a puzzle that he had won at Chuck E Cheese a long time ago, and decided to put it together. It was challenging because it formed a ball...but he did it....and it took him a LONG time. Speaking of Chuck E Cheese, my kids love that place. Even Meghan who is 9 still loves it. Riley saves his tickets and always gets the big prize...Considering he is only 6, I am quite impressed that he has always saved his tickets. Most kids want the instant gratification.

Now check out this disaster of a room. This is Rileys room after a day of play with him and Meghan. A source of frustration for me. This room takes hours to clean and minutes to mess up. Legos all over the place and now a Geo Trax train set that the kids set up going under his bed. Of course since the tracks have been set up, now he does not want them to be put away. UGH!
Riley and his trains. I will give it another day and then it will be cleaning time. Meghan is at her girlfriends tonight and Felicia is coming over to watch Riley, so I will let the mess go on one more day. Keith and I are going out to dinner tonight now that yet ANOTHER snow storm is over. We all have off tomorrow and plan on painting our bedroom....cousin Natey is staying over tomorrow as well....so should be fun! Have great week!
