Christmas Morning

Well, I am about a week behind on my blog because I had a MAJOR computer issue. I couldnt get any more pictures added to my computer and had to do a major clean out...but, I am back, with TONS of pictures of Christmas morning and Christmas Eve. Kids woke up about 7:30 (cant complain about that) considering my sisters kids were up last year at 4:00am...So, we got a jump start on presents.

Meghan and her cd player that is compatible with her ipod. We have re-done her room to a big girl room and we got rid of all her princess stuff (which included her princess cd player and alarm clock)...so she got a new one, and can now play her ipod at night.

Do you think he is happy :) Riley's big gift this year, a metal detector. He was begging for one of those for a long time.....Too bad he cant use it right now considering the ground is snow covered, but he got it.

Meghan and her Celtics toothbrush. She has a Celtics theme in her stocking this year (considering she is a huge basketball fan) and watches every game she can.

Celtics slippers in her stocking as well. I hunted high and low for those slippers. They were completely sold out at every store and then a week before Christmas I was able to get the ones on display at Olympia sports (talk about pressure)!

The kids big gift of the year, the Wii (from mom and dad) and Santa brought the games.

Meghans gift from Mom and Dad, Celtics tickets. That was her number 1 dream gift and she got it.

Christmas was GREAT! I love that we now stay home on Christmas and it is so relaxing to not have to worry about traveling. Gives the kids plenty of time to play with their toys. Wii has been a hit. The kids played it for close to 12 hours on Christmas Day. Power flickered on and off Christmas morning at around 2:00 am and I was scared that we were going to be powerless on Christmas, but luckily it came back on!

Christmas Eve at Grammy Terry's

Every Christmas Eve we spend down at my mothers house where all the cousins come to visit. There are normally quite a few people that come and visit, and some cousins we only get to see a couple times a year. It is a great time for the kids and they play, play, and play! We always exchange gifts with Grammy Terry on Christmas Eve...

Christmas Party w/ Santa

Yesterday was our kids Christmas party that is put on by our work. It is held at the Rec Center and Santa comes and gives out gifts. It is a great time for the kids....Unfortuntely, we had a MAJOR snow storm, so we could only stay for a little bit. Roads were just a disaster. My old partner, Johnnie V....We came on the Department together almost 13 years ago and worked the same sector for a long time.

Now we are talking. Barney gave Riley a bag of CANDY!

Meghan says, "are you kidding me," but she posed with Barney.....That is why there are 10 more pictures of Riley because Meghan was not really having any part of the characters.

But when Santa arrived, Meghan hopped in that picture pretty quickly. Look at her smile :)
